My mother had an appointment today and forgot her insurance cards, the office refused to see her without the physical cards, even though they had already verified her Medicare coverage, and she showed her ID. She was Hyppa compliant. I have never in my over 25 years of working in doctors offices and in the medical field. Seen a patient treated this way over a physical insurance card.
