I had been a patient at GW Primary Care of Bethesda for nearly a year, and had a positive experience. Dr. Provost was kind and helpful albeit very short in appointment times. She was managing my medication of a controlled substance. Suddenly, I discovered that she was no longer with the practice when I went to request a refill. No attempt was made to notify me and I was told I would have to schedule an appointment as a new patient in order to continue my essential care. Horribly disappointed. Called the office twice, no answer. Left voice message, no call back. Go in person to make an appointment with Maria Portela Martinez, receptionist takes my ID and Insurance and inputs my appointment, great. Go into appointment day and another receptionist notifies me that my insurance is not accepted since it is medicaid. Not at issue, the problem is the lack of respect from the prior receptionist to not let me know. I'm looking to speak w a new PCP for a post-surgery check up referral and now I'm lef... read more
The worst..Careless practice. Staff unprofessional. Distributed incorrect medicationto me. I’ve had a reaction to it & I was told I would get Dr. Prevost and a mgmt team member contact me about it. All I received was a text from CVS stating my prescription was ready. The why this has happened, still has yet to be answered. Trust your nearest dealership over GW Primary Csre.
