Great research happening here!
This should be mandatory curriculum for local 5th grade students. The Great Lakes are an amazing resource for all of us, and we need to understand the factors that affect our environment. Kids were given the chance to take samples from the water and from the sludge on the bottom of the lakes. They were given time in the onboard lab, and recorded data. The staff were thorough and patient. This was an awesome experience!
