Been waiting for a month for completion of landscaping at our Oakwood Home in Adonea only to find that the sprinklers were installed incorrectly. ? supervisor promised by today 6/3 & sod tomorrow. Empty promises.
GVR Landscape can improve by hiring qualified people with a landscaping background. Just about everything they planted in my yard died. Most of it had to do with improper planting. It would also be great that they actually paid attention to the homeowner. My landscape design wasn't followed, and is one of the poorest workmanship I have ever experienced. If you buy a house from Oakwood. DO NOT GET THE LANDSCAPE PACKAGE.
Doug and the GVR landscaping crew are a very hardworking and educated landscaping company. They were able to complete my very complicated job with a very short timeline and go above and beyond my expectations. They took the initiative to reach out to my municipalities and find all the requirements to make sure my project was done correctly. I highly recommend them to anyone with any type of landscaping needs!
Sorry, this took so long to review ... my son, Matthew, worked with Doug Hurst to develop an awesome landscaping design for his newly built home in the Grand Valley Ranch sub-division. Both the backyard and front yard turned out excellent right down to the sprinkler installation ... GVR crew did outstanding work 9/2017 at our place and are friendly!! They work hard, are knowledgeable and helpful. The head person, Doug, listened to the adaptions I wanted to accommodate our 54' wide triangle shaped side yard and the crew followed through. Just because there is a language barrier with some of the crew doesn't mean one can't communicate. Show the workers appreciation by smiling, applauding or giving them a thumbs up. Bridget "Bre" has been so attentive and responsive to us.. GVR was able to come out in a very timely manner and was awesome once out at our home.. Jose and his team were all very nice and efficient! I am very impressed with GVR and glad we went with them for our landscaping needs in our new home!
This place does the worst yard installs I have ever seen. It's blatantly obvious they just throw down sod and go from one new build to the next as fast as they can go. I have holes under my sod you could break your ankle in. No top soil underneath. Tried to get them to come back even at my cost and they keep telling me they are too busy. Don't waste your money on this place, all they care about is the paycheck from the home builders.
