The minute my mother was brought into palliative care at this hospital, the extra effort and care was there. The old manager from milford haven, Colin, brought my mother a quilt from her room at milford haven, just so my mother would have something familiar with her. My mother was dying and the sensitivity, the extra effort, the tenderness with which they displayed for my mother, the information and experience they shared,made it easier for my family. Since covid it's to understaffed for the amount of people they have going to the hospital. Only do appointments for blood work, which isn't advertised or common knowledge. Needed emergency blood work only one vial, and they would not do it. Do not have any of these problems with sherbrooke hospital which is ALOT smaller.
