They really don't care about you emotionally they see you as a cash machine nothing else. Had 2 ivf failed cycle and thy don't even reply or answer anymore, because I don't have any other embryo stored with them and they know ikl not go back so they don't care at all. Also they don't test you for anything to find out why one cycle failed, they just do the next transfer to fail again because they transferred it very late just few days before period , so don't do this mistake as I did .

We were NHS funded and I loved my experience in Guy’s ACU. Their system works, it’s efficient and they provide you with everything you need. They will not hold your hand and you will meet different people during your appointments but each person you meet knows what they are doing and trying their best to help you. They might take time to answer but they do, just get the right emails/contact at any stage. Overall genuinely nice people work there (embryologists for me being the best team)! It took me 3 weeks from checkups to extracting eggs. The process was smooth and the communication was excellent. If you have any questions, you have to contact them via the email and phone number they gave you, not from the website or Google. I especially wanted to thank Nora and Tamara who treated me with care and patience. I went from feeling scared to feeling as if nothing happened simply because it was smooth. If you're considering fertility treatment at Guy's, please read this first! My partner and I went through two unsuccessful rounds of IVF with Guy's and felt compelled to share our experience, in the hope it may help even one couple avoid what we went through. The treatment we received there was, in a word, terrible. There were continual contradictions and poor communication throughout. I can only say the best things about the team and the whole experience. Every single person we dealt with during the process was attentive, supportive and kind, the nurses are simply fantastic and always very positive. We were NHS funded and always treated with respect, and yes, the treatment worked from the first time, so I consider ourselves very lucky. If I had to go for a private round there, I would still choose this hospital without hesitation!
