So this is my second time coming here because i heard this the original chicken and sauce recipe that cane's copied and let me tell you gunthries is far superior than cane's the sauce is better and the chicken fingers are bigger and have a better batter.fries are bigger and larger portions I wish there were more around the city ..this place is legit

The orginal 1965 OG sauce I recommend you try this place and compare how the other popular/famous restaurants got their start from. Yes, the others are a little different but this is a most try and compare place. I did enjoy their 4 piece combo pictured below. I would go back but this is the only one in Vegas and a bit far of a drive.

They claim to be the OG and they were around before Cane's. The chicken, fries, cole slaw, and sauce are the same as Raising Cane's. The difference is Guthrie's may of been first but Cane's does it better. I went in on a Wednesday for dinner no one was in there. They are more expensive, the atmosphere was totally lacking, had a longer wait even though no one was in there. The food was stale. The chicken, fries, and some how the cole slaw was dry. They may have been first, but Cane's does it better.

Guthrie's is pretty good. Nice to switch up from the ubiquitous Raising Cane's here in Las Vegas. Can't wait for Zaxby's open up here. I like Zaxby's best out of all these joints just because I can get some wings, salad, fried mushrooms, etc. Canes and Guthries literally just have chicken fingers, fries, and toast. Oh and coleslaw.
