Very nice man. He put my port in, which goes into your aorta. Chemo has to be given through a port because if they injected it directly into the veins using a syringe, it would burn the veins. I knew none of this before and after the surgery. I learned this through another patient. On top of it, my pork sticks very far out and tilts it looks horrible.

Dr. OLMSTEAD IS A VERY EXPERIENCED DOCTOR WITH EXCELLENT BED SIDE MANNERS. I FELT VERY COMFORTABLE LEAVING MY GALL BLADDER CONDITION IN HIS HANDS. HIS TEAM AT THE CORNING HOSPITAL WAS EXCELLENT AS WELL.

The Thursday before Easter he had my mother come into his office for a consultation. My mom dad and I were all there. He asked her if she knew why she was there then told her she had cancer and that he wanted her in the operating room within one to two weeks...he NEVER gave her any options...he NEVER told her what may or may not happen if she did not want surgery.
