Been a patient 2 years been prescribed numerous meds which have been changed frequently. When I try to ask questions he is dismissive and refused to appeal the decision to deny the meds he prescribed to the insurance. He said that was my responsibility. Staff called and gave me test results and moved up my appointment scaring me only for him to say it was nothing. He doesn’t seem to care or want to do anything but prescribe meds and run tests.
Dr Spenos and his wife Nora are amazing. They are been very helpful treating my mother. They take their time with her and when she leaves there she has all her questions answered. I would not take her anywhere else. Very nice doctors and staff.
Dr Spenos did nothing to help with my severe nerve pain in my leg. He kept telling me to be patient while he prescribed pills that not work. When I pressed him for what my options were he said you can do nothing, or take pills & wait for your insurance to approve an MRI. After three denials, I found out he had not provided the documentation that I had gone thru 3 months of chiropractic care with no relief. If he had provided this info the MRI would have been approved. Still in pain.
Dr. Spenos and his wife Nora are both excellent. They have helped me finally get my migraines under control without using narcotics. They have also treated me for neurological issues. Very professional and take their time to explain everything in terms I can understand. I would definitely recommend either one of them.
The wait time in the room is rediculous, 30 minutes at least, then he spends 15 minutes in the room tops. He does not explain thing or give you time to ask questions. He really only just prescribes medication. He delayed my Mother's care so now her Dementia is worse.
I love Dr. Gus Spenos and his wife Nora, they are very professional Drs. I was needing a Dr. For Guillian Barre Snydrome, rare, I am on Medicade and the Dr. That found it at the ER in Greenfield In. Dr. Chase does not accept Medicade, so I had to find a Dr. That did, Dr. Spenos did not hesitate to take me, he was so very kind to me, and insured me I was going to get better, it has been 3 years now and I get better every day, I love to go see him, I always get to see his wife Nora when I,m there,
I struggled with terrible migraines for years, until I became a patient of Dr. Spenos. He was very quick to address the issue & kept me very informed with his decision making process which means a lot! After many years of dealing with these migraines, it was life changing to have him act so promptly and professionally!
Spenos provided me with very outdated information and wasted a lot of my time leading me down a wrong diagnostic path. Luckily, I eventually saw a competent doctor who gave me good information and saved my life. Spenos is lazy, behind the times, and incompetent.
Wonderful doctor with a great attitude and very professional at the same time. He doesn't leave you hanging. He was quick at finding the diagnosis to my problems. But his phone number here is incorrect. It's 317-705-2000
