Staff were funny and friendly, chicken was bomb, would highly recommend
It was a Sunday and we'd had a long day of walking and driving and we just weren't feeling like making dinner, but I wanted fried chicken. My wife said "What about Gus's? We've never been there.". Ok, that was easy. We've driven by it hundreds of times and often said we should try it some time...this was that time. Love that chicken from guss's. Didn't know they had one in louisville and by the wY i Didn't know they had that many around. I come from the south I've been to the one i n memphis for 30 years then we got one in little rock and they are the best any where you go they are right on spot now i gave another bucket list to visit all of them. Love the guses plastic cups they should be personalized for each one. Was some of THE MOST juiciest crispiest flavorful chicken made to order that I've had Will definitely be going back on the next trip to Louisville!
Good place for chicken. Spicy skin and juicy, full of flavor. Good sized pieces, too. Service was spot on! Friendly folks and an open atmosphere. Parking is tight, but overall, a good place to eat when you want to skip the chain fast food chicken.
