I just don't like spicy chicken, it makes my mouth and stomach hurt. Sorry. And I kept giving out of tea while I was eating with not frequent enough refills.
Being from Memphis, we love Gus's fries chicken but this experience may keep us from returning. First, the only nearby parking is across the street and runs$7.65/hr. Second, we were seated right away and then completely ignored for 20 minutes. We asked someone to assist us and she said our server would be right out. He came out minutes later, checked on everyone around us then left without saying a word to us. Most tables seemed to be waiting a while for assistance but weren't completely ignored. The service was slow. The waitress kept forgetting things I asked for(ketchup, honey mustard). The restaurant was smokey. The Cole slaw was bland, tenders and fries were bland. The fries were supposed to be seasoned fries. I’ll try a different one. But I will not return to this one
