Gusano’s Chicago-Style Pizzeria began in July, 2004, in Little Rock, Arkansas. It was the idea of Ben Biesenthal, president and founder of Gusano’s, and his partners Tim Chappell and Grub Christie. Ben grew up in Chicago and later moved to Arkansas to attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He never lost sight of his love for his hometown pizza.
