I have been going to Doctor Gurule since 2016, he was in practice with two other doctors staff was excellent and responded right away . Since he went on his own the service has been horrible and what I mean by this is the reception staff is rude, hateful, doesn’t answer the phones, doesn’t call to see if your insurance will do a tele call so I had to call and do her job to find out, doesn’t call on prescription when asked, doesn’t return phone calls to MRI location, they called and left four messages with no luck. DONT go to this doc.the office staff is abhorrent, and they don’t take care of their patients. They never answer their phone, they don’t authorize refills, and it takes MONTHS to even get an appointment. Don’t bother with Gurule—his whole office is a joke.

As a person, I found him to be a perfectly adequate neurologist: he appeared to make a good and honest effort to help me and I really appreciate him for that. I'm not an expert so I can't really judge his performance. What I can judge fairly well however is the service, or lack of it, on the part of his practice. My pharmacist contacted his office to get a prescription refill for a very common anti-seizure medicine three times with no response.
