As a person, I found him to be a perfectly adequate neurologist: he appeared to make a good and honest effort to help me and I really appreciate him for that. I'm not an expert so I can't really judge his performance. What I can judge fairly well however is the service, or lack of it, on the part of his practice. My pharmacist contacted his office to get a prescription refill for a very common anti-seizure medicine three times with no response. I am very grateful for my visit with Dr Manuel Gurule. Dr Gurule took his time with me, listened with compassion, did many tests, and explained everything he was doing in simple terms, and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. I found him kind, compassionate, patient and very experienced and talented. Grateful I found you Dr, and I would recommend you to anyone suffering from neurological issues. Thank you
This doctor could not care any less about his patients. I witnessed a patient showing up with uncontrolled symptoms because they were not being responded to, so they came in person and every person in the office, including the doctor acted like they were being irrational for complaining. I myself had a specific care plan with Dr. Gurule that he set up. I was to try a new medicine and if it didn't work I was to contact him and let him know to step into another prescription he wanted me to try. I did this. He did not follow th... read more
Dr Gurule and his staff are very kind and helpful, they have been going above and beyond to try to get my medication approved. Subtracting 1 star because it can be so hard to get through to someone on the phone but this is because they are short staffed.
