The hotel has seen better days. The rooms are sparse (no end tables by the bed; a pedestal sink in the bathroom with no counter space). I do love the balconies over main street. Unfortunately the Speakeasy and the Toasted Goat have closed permanently.
This hotel was truly unique. It was so interesting to stay in a hotel full of history .The staff was very kind and helped answer our questions about the hotel and the area. Would definitely stay here again. So fascinating to hear the history of the hotel. So beautiful too.
Great stay! Historic hotel with a lot of charm. The front desk lady was super friendly and very informative. The room was very clean, ac worked well, and the bed was super comfortable. If I'm in the area again, ill definitely stay!
Historical, beautiful area. Lots of activities within walking distance
No service except for 3-5pm when you are expected to check in. Came after, had a key in a lock box, but was not able to get any ice. Absolutely no one around to help with anything. Couldn't even get ice. There are a ton of people who live here. They seem nice.
