I’ve been to Gunston Massage over two dozen times in the past couple of years and have had mostly great experiences, leaving feeling much better than before. I especially love seeing Joy or Herry, who give an incredible massage. There was one instance where I didn’t like the massage technique of a certain therapist, but Gunston was kind and understanding, and made sure I got scheduled with someone else. They’re also very reasonably priced, and their suite is always clean and welcoming.
This review is on a specific therapist. The first time I saw Tina, I did not enjoy the massage at all and I made note of it so that I avoid seeing her the next time. However, I decided to give her another chance and I have confirmed that I will not see her again. She kept checking her phone during the massage, she also kept hitting my bone, and her technique was so uneven. I had the most wonderful and relaxing experience here. By far one of the best massage sessions I’ve ever had. I’ve tried a few good places in the area, but this place is the best. Tina is amazing she really listened to my problematic areas. I came out of my session feeling totally relaxed and pain free. Looks like I found my go to massage place.
Gunston Massage is a wonderful little treasure! I would like to compliment and recommend one of their therapists, Joy! Joy is extremely attentive as she checks in with you to make sure you are doing ok. Joy is intuitive and she is a true expert adding her own special touches to make the experience unique! I’ve been getting massages here for about a year and a half. I’ve only ever had amazing experiences, but I just had the best massage of my entire life. Cindy was my masseuse and I have a ton of really intense shoulder and neck pain that she spent a whole hour working on and it feels so much better now. I would 10 out of 10 recommend to anybody
