Dr. Lee, all nurses, and the anesthesiologist were so kind. My son had an emergency surgery here at Gunnison Valley for his appendix. As soon as we walked in I felt welcomed and comfortably safe. There was great communication throughout the staff and all were so amazing. They are VERY much appreciated beyond words. We are from Texas and this whole experience of having to drive to the ER an hr away in a different state was very overwhelming/scary for my husband and I, but we knew right away we were in great hands with Dr.Lee ... read more
Dr. Lee, the anesthesiologist, and all nurses were so kind. My son had appendicitis and felt extremely sick. As soon as we walked in I felt welcomed and comfortably safe. Their communication throughout the staff was amazing and VERY much appreciated beyond words. We are not from Colorado and this whole experience was overwhelming for my family, but we knew right away we were in great hands with Dr.Lee and the staff. I am forever thankful.
We came from Texas on vacation and had to go to the emergency room not once but twice. Both times the staff, nurses, and doctors were absolutely amazing. The nurses and doctors had excellent bed side manner, they were supportive, attentive, and were there for anything we needed. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We seriously couldn’t have asked for better nurses.
Went to the ER March 20 for hyperglycemic symptoms and a BG 202. Upon intake 176. Was treated instead as a mental crisis patient who was “incoherent, rambling, paranoid” as per ER Doc who then placed me on CO M-1 hold. Refused any medical treatment and shipped to Salida then Denver against any mental health professionals wishes and opinions - including the called in Psychiatrist who did not agree.
