David turned around a slightly difficult handguard installment job the same day so I could go practice for a match that same evening.
Great Gun Store and Service I have used this store for multiple services, Ordering guns, Gun Service, Gun Modifications, etc... They are a knowledgeable, courteous gun shop. The staff do not pester you, if you need help or want to ask a question they are there and ready to help (all it takes is for you to ask).
looking Jim J., Which gunsmith did you eventually use? I am looking for a gunsmith recommendation in the DFW area, preferable near Mckinney. I spoke to the gunsmith at Gunmasters, asked him if I could watch him while he did some mods to my gun, he said 'no, thats when I start to make mistakes'. Didn't inspire confidence, to say the least!

Happy Buyer I read the reviews on this page and was a little reluctant to even go to Gunmaster. As a first time gun buyer I wanted to go some where with great customer service. Great service is exactly what I got. The sales guy Danny helped me out from the moment I walked into the door, and I even was able to talk some SEC football with some gentleman from Alabama and another guy behind the counter. I am going to pick the gun up next week and thank Gunmaster for their great service.
Okay only if you have $$$$ I've been to several stores in the area (since I'm from out of state), and was amazed at how pricey this store is! On average they are at least $50-150 more than other stores. Last resort only.
Service? What service? Over the years I have purchased several guns from Gunmasters and had them sell several as well. To this day when I walk in the store nobody seems to recognize me. Even worse is that no one seems to interested in helping with any questions. Don't know how they make any money. If selling guns is this easy I need to get an FFL. Better service and better prices from a competitor would put them out of business quickly.
Gunmaster While these guys are not the "warmest and fuzziest" group you will ever meet, they are also not so full of braggadocio that you cannot talk to them. They have very reasonable prices and a good selection of weapons and accessories.
GunMaster - Stuck me with a problem! DON"T GO THERE!! I am a novice that started shooting to take the stress off. I bought a S&W 457 for about $400.00+ and when I checked it, the slide kept getting caught. I showed the salesman and he said to just keep cocking it and it will lossen up and slide. I tried it for months and it never loosened up. I called them and they told me to send it off to S&W. Consequently, I never even got to shoot it.
