Dont go unless you absolutely have to. Rude people on reception who have no idea of any thing remotely medical and dont like it if you ask for guidance. I specifically asked them if they are able to treat my son for his dislocated finger and she said yes. Waited 2.5 hours to be told by nurse that they dont do anything for dislocated joints and we must go to hospital. It is better go to the emergency first even if it takes more time to go there. Now I wait 4 more hours in canberra hospital emergency which is a story in itself... read more
Today I attended Walk in clinic in Gungahlin. Luckily today, I didn't need to wait for so long. I would like to give my appreciation to Wendy the RN that assessed my health and wellbeing for today. She is a wonderful kind nurse, she is very patience and listened to all my issues and enquiry. She's even gave me the solutions with my issues. She has an angel heart, thank you so much Wendy.
The new number system at the walk-in centre is wonderful. Allows me to know where I am in the line & saves me having to ask the receptionist. The information on the back of the number is helpful too. I would like to respond to SundayK who reviewed was seen out of order. If you read the back of the number it clearly states that people maybe seen out of order. have been waiting for over an hour, yet according to their system, my wait time is recorded as only 46 minutes. People who arrived after me and had higher queue numbers were seen before I was. Whether it's due to a system error or a mistake by the receptionist, it's extremely frustrating. What’s worse is that no one even acknowledged the issue—there was no apology, and it seems like the queue number system holds no real value if it’s not being followed.
