Unpleasant experience. They told us "the police will have a problem with us" because Michigan law requires all kayak renters to have a safety license. Later admitted it was false (I'm over 50 and the requirement is for youth under 25). Wasted a 2 hour drive for us. Another place rented us a boat no problem.
We were on the lake and having a lot of fun, we were having so much fun that we accidentally went there for 1 hour more than we were supposed to. Very good fishing too.
I appreciate the great experience I was told how to drive the boat and I nailed it! Love it I will definitely be back.
