We had the BEST weekend thanks to Gun Lake Boats! My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary at Bay Pointe Inn, and after a mix-up with our reservation (they never booked us a boat), we reached out to Gun Lake Boats. This was such a great boating experience! Mark was very helpful and accommodating to our group, and Camden gave us tips and directions for where to go around the lake and helped us out on the dock. The boat was clean and easy to use. We had a really fun time and will rent from here again!
Unpleasant experience. They told us "the police will have a problem with us" because Michigan law requires all kayak renters to have a safety license. Later admitted it was false (I'm over 50 and the requirement is for youth under 25). Wasted a 2 hour drive for us. Another place rented us a boat no problem.
We were on the lake and having a lot of fun, we were having so much fun that we accidentally went there for 1 hour more than we were supposed to. Very good fishing too.
I appreciate the great experience I was told how to drive the boat and I nailed it! Love it I will definitely be back.
