Beautiful bluestone homestead with high ceilings and period features typical of that era. The house is bigger than you expect and the bedrooms are huge with very comfortable beds. Our family of 5 stayed a few nights and also had celebratory luncheon. We had 8 for a lunch and the dining room/ kitchen area was perfect for that number but could accommodate more. There is a great view south from anywhere in the entertaining areas. Our host was very accommodating and helpful and we all enjoyed our time there.
Loved our weekend at Gumbower. Beautiful homestead with amazing outlook. Fabulous place to relax and enjoy . Great hosts.
