Its nature trails are full of native tropical plants, and during certain times of the year, butterflies and many types of birds can be found here. At the complex, plenty of guides are available to answer questions and share information on the animals that live at this center, including sea turtles and other marine animals. There is free admission and parking.

I love coming to Gumbo Limbo and could stand and watch the aquarium's for hours on end. They have some great volunteers that are eager to share their knowledge! I wish they would post the feeding times for everyone...I was lucky to experience it and its awesome.
Worth the trip. My 4 year old granddaughter loved the scavenger hunt. The adults loved it too. Just enough for everyone and not an all day excursion. Take the trip
