After finding Gumbo Limbo on Google recommendations and after waiting way too long to visit, I finally made the trip out here. Today was my first time visiting Gumbo Limbo, and I have to say I love it here. I can't wait to come back and bring the family.
Perfect thing to take kids baby and 8 year olds to. Loved the outside nature feel with the butterfly garden and the tiki hut to sit and hang out with a private beach that's not tainted by people. Knowing that gumbo limbo rescues, rehabilitates n releases sea turtles makes it much more fascinating to see these majestic creatures being cared for up close and personal. I love the Gumbo Limbo Nature Park. The staff & volunteers are so knowledgeable & friendly! I could sit at your aquariums all day and be mesmerized with the beauty. I look forward to your events and introduce all my friends to the best kept secret in Boca. The renovated boardwalk using recycled products is amazing as well as the intercoastal views. Keep.up the great work with taking care of the Sea Turtles & educating us on their progress & releases. Thank you for all you do !
I was quite amazed when I went to this Nature Center. My mother and I have talked for at least a year about going here. We like to walk the boardwalks of our local nature centers. There was so much to see, learn and enjoy at Gumbo Limbo that I will not only go again but would recommend to any family or friends visiting from up north. I also plan on submitting the paperwork for membership as the great work done to rehabilitate the Sea Turtles is amazing and if I can help out that cause just a little, I'm proud and happy.
