We had a fantastic time today learning how we can reduce plastic in the ocean.
nature walk will be nice when they finish the boardwalk to the tower. We also noticed that the trees are not marked according to the boards they offer for identification. Bummer.
Visiting from St Vincent and the Grenadines! This place was fabulous. Felt very welcomed by the knowledgeable staff as soon as we arrived, they are a passionate bunch who are doing amazing work! Highly recommend.
To be able to see turtles (adults and babies) being helped by these volunteers and workers it awesome.

I throughly enjoyed my visit today. The exhibits are very informative. The nature walk was peaceful and pretty. Everyone I met was very knowledgeable and friendly. I especially loved the turtle hospital and the Turtle talk. Thank you all!
I love Gumbo Limbo Nature Center! I used to live right down the road from it in the early 80's. It's amazing to see all the progress and expansions there. The sea turtle rescue and FAU research affiliations are amazing!! I love watching the sea turtle releases as well. The gift shop is also a really cool feature! Yet, my favorite part is still going on the original boardwalk and climbing up the stairs of the viewing tower to look out above the hammocks of trees and see the ocean from above!! so beautiful & fun too!!! 😄 grea... read more
Literally my favorite place to take the kids! I take my family, friends, people from out of town and every kid l have watched in the past 15 years. My grandsons love the fish tanks. The observatory can be interesting but the trails leading to the water ways is beautiful. Such a great FAU research teaching facility!
