All around 10/10!!!! Troy gave us the rundown on the whole menu and you could really feel the authenticity before we even stepped inside. I took my son here and we are originally from the south. He lives in southern California now, so he doesn't get a chance to eat much soul/Cajun food and BOY did G2G scratch the itch we were looking for!!! Authentic cajun food in Illinois! The family that owns this restaurant come straight from Baton Rouge and you can taste it! Best cajin cooking I've ever had outside of Louisiana and better than some cooking I've had in Louisiana. From seafood gumbo to gator poboys it is all delicious. And in addition to top notch food the staff is amazing. Candy really brought the southern hospitality to our group! She was friendly, attentive, and very kind!
