When I was her patient she prescribed me nortriptyline. It’s a first generation medication. It’s an antidepressant but can be prescribed for nerve pain. You take it every night for migraines. I never took it. She was instant on me taking it, even with me telling her I don’t have migraines that often anymore. I had gone to numerous doctors and Dr Syed was the first to listen and offer explanations. Her nurse Pamela was more than helpful. I finally feel I am on the road to managing my symptoms.
