Such a great informative tour! History and architecture that wasn't sugar coated.
Mr. Brown's level of knowledge was excellent! Although he has a heavy accent, he made sure that we understood everything that he was explaining. We felt as though we had a better understanding of the history of Charleston after.our tour. He made us want to take a deeper dive into history, we even purchased his book so that we could learn more. Excellent Job, I was concerned that 2 hours wouldn't be enough, but it was plenty of time.

We five had a wonderful experience. It was great to hear Mr Alphonso speak, with the cadence and dialect of Gullah Geechee. The tour gave many surprises. We will do it again.
