BEWARE! Rented a condo at Sunrise Village and it had pictures, pricing, and details. Arrived and it was so disgusting and tiny (literally couldn't stand in front of the toilet and close the bathroom door) that I immediately went back to my car and booked elsewhere. Was absolutely not like the pictures. Reached out but only got a voicemail so I left one and sent an email asking for a refund. Gulfsands replied a day later with 'sorry not sorry' via email. Broken washer, dirty water, cockroaches, and terrible customer service. I'll start by saying Gulfsands Rentals offered to compensate me $30 for my trouble, but in my mind is totally unacceptable for the situation. I requested 1 night be reimbursed out of the 7 that we stayed - then after two more emails they never responded. We arrived and the first thing we noticed is the washer door is open and about 1 foot full of filthy dark brown water. We called and got somebody trying to fix it but was unsuccessful. I had a great time at the property we stayed at! Laguna Sands is on the water but close enough to beach - the price is spot on! The unit is updated with nice appliances and can hold a big group of 10 people (like us lol). Plus, we got to enjoy the pool area. I recommend this property and this rental company - it was simple from the moment I booked. What I really like was that there was no random charges
we rented from gulf sand shores and everything was ok. we got a 3 bedroom 3 bath condo for 8. there were only 8 towels and fewer wash cloths. we had to use our beach towels sometimes. anyway, i washed our beach towels and their towels separately every time. the final day, i did the same and even washed and dried their towels and left them in the dryer. well, i was charged $30 from my deposit for three towels that supposedly had pink on them. their towels were white, ever hear of chlorox? well anyway, be VERY careful with the... read more
We are this business, and this review is competely inaccurate and we challenge it. Toaster oven burned item from tenant (unknown if due to item). Service went out with new toaster same day...tenant would not allow it to be replaced, but we removed it and added new toaster. Microwave was replaced within 1 hour of report not working. Tenant reported roaches in kitchen, we said we would have bug people out immediately. Tenant DECLINED service. The ONLY good thing about this rental was the view. It is on the beach and close to the water. Harbor House is infested with bugs and roaches. It is out-dated and almost every appliance was falling apart during our stay. We had the toaster (which caught fire) and the microwave replaced by the 3rd or 4th day. We were in Harbor House B1 - and it was so dirty. We spent 80% of our vacation calling Gulf Shores office about our on-going problems.
