For 4 months I looked forward to this beach getaway and we ended our trip early because we could not stand the smell of the room any longer. As soon as you opened the door, the smell for mold and/or mildew knocked you back. We spent the first night trying to clean and make it tolerable. After about $100 worth of cleaning supplies, it was still bad. We requested to be moved to a different room and we were told that they all smelled the same way. That place used to be a nice place but now there's always drunks at the pool even though there's not supposed to be any drinking, loud music even though there's even a rule against that. What's even more aggravating is people putting there stuff right at the steps of the pool. There are huge spots in the pool that are peeling but they try to keep them covered with what I call big bathmats.
