This would ne a negative star. This company is horrible!! They bully you to to automatic payments, no bill explanations, high rates, and will shut off power to your house without any notice. Its their way or no way. Looking forward to new technology to eliminate the need for power company. This company is horrible and makes me want to move just to not have to deal with them.

I am so disgusted with FPL. I have had multiple issues with them and it’s near impossible to get anyone on the phone the majority of the time. The most recent situation I had I was very surprised when I was able to get through to a rep. initially but it was not a traditional menu option one would choose to speak with a rep. I made an arrangement on my payment, due to having Covid. I followed through with my side of the arrangement and yet still my power was turned off. 4/24/2021 Called in downed power lines after some bad storms blew through Panama City Beach, FL. a few weeks ago. Gentlemen who took my call was very belligerent and seemed to be annoyed that I was bothering him by contacting customer service. May have very well been having a bad day, but don't pass it on to the customer!

I called them jerks several times to ensure I did not have a high deposit that I had to put down. And if I did have a high deposit I would have it that moment prior to me moving in after me moving in but no we are in two months later and they want to $275 deposit! After getting on the phone with them to complain I just got a bunch of lies and bull crap.
