I was a nervous wreck and they made be so comfortable and relaxed. But seriously, the support dog, Foxy! She was absolutely amazing at keeping me calm and cuddling with me! I’ve had mammograms in the past and always had to repeat because of my dense breast tissue. 10 out 10 recommended!

This is how it all began, I had a mammogram at The Woodlands and after a few weeks, I receved the results via a letter informing me I had dense breast. After finding a lump the last thing I wanted was to sit in a frigid, bright white room on crunchy paper, waiting for a knock and a person who would be rushing to get me in and out. Despite medical care litteraly being healing the body, it can get incredibly dehumanizing. I can't tell you how greatful I am for Gulf Islands Medical imaging. Such a lovely space and a comfortable imaging procedure! Stephanie, Tena and the precious resident dog, Foxy, we're all absolutely amazing and so kind!
