If you want to live in an overpriced apartment, Gulf Cove is the place for you! For your hard earned dollars, you get two standard bedrooms with minimal closet space and exposed wiring to outdated fans. One of the absolute best features is that you can hear everything that the neighbor above/below says, listens to, and does!! Extra bonus if that upstairs neighbor has a dog that barks 20 hrs a day and those neighbors vacuum 3 times a day!!! The management of this apartment complex reflects that of the parent company, Stratford Management. While it is not necessarily these ladies' fault for the policies, they could do a lot more to speak up for the tenants. Instead, we are treated as employees of the company. This is not good news for living in Fort Walton are as I'm pretty sure Stratford owns most apartment buildings now. I suggest finding a house to rent instead of dealing with these companies that do not care about you or your home.
Bugs, mold and water problems
I’ve been in this apartment complex for about 5 years and I’m still going strong. Through all the previous comments I can say that management ( Melissa and Alex ) has come through time and time again. I have had work done in my unit over the course of 5 years and can say each time work has been completed it has been done in a timely manner. The maintenance team are professional and efficient as well as the office staff going above and beyond.
Wonderful complex with great management service. Any issues I might have faced were easily resolved by the fantastic maintenance team. Great place to call home!
