In April late in the day I found out I needed an MRI. I took the chance to telephone Scarsdale right before closing time. The receptionist named Nancy answered the phone. They didn't receive my order yet. Instead of telling me to call back tomorrow she telephoned my doctor's office, collected my information, then scheduled my appointment. The Worst Experience That Keeps on Giving My experience with Gulf Coast Imaging was, without question, one of the worst medical-service experiences I have ever had. I had a CT scan scheduled shortly after a minor outpatient procedure. Even with insurance, I was initially told I would need to pay approximately $500. I explained that my insurance portal showed my estimated responsibility should be no more than about $75.
