Everyone was extremely kind and the procedure was so quick! I am extremely thankful to Dr. Winstead, Rosie and the entire team. Y’all were amazing!
Referred there by another dr. Clerk calls and wants to schedule my procedures. Tells me their doctor wants to do something other than what my original doctor ordered. Clerk can't tell me what that is, can't answer my questions. I'm just supposed to schedule these new procedures without being able to ask any questions about risks, benefits, prep, etc. Tells me I can't make an appointment with the doctor who is doing the procedures, but I can make an appt with his PA. These reviews had me very nervous, but they were very nice when I called to make my appointment and got me in quickly. Once I arrived, I checked right in and was called back within 5 minutes of my appointment time. The nurse that started my process was one of the most friendly people I've experienced in a medical setting! She made me feel like a friend. Then, the PA I saw, was super understanding and spent time explaining and working with me and told me to call anytime with questions.
Arrived to my 230 appointment 15 minutes early, receptionist said she was too busy to check me in and would get to me shortly. At 225 I asked again to be checked in, she said she was still busy. At 235 I asked what the holdup was and she again made an excuse about having to take a phone call from the hospital. I told her I now understand why they have a 2.5 star rating and she can get bent and walked out. Infirmary Health is garbage down here, had the same issue with a PCP across town with this medical system. Do better
After finally having the phone answered, both of the people that I spoke with, were very rude, condescending, and obviously did not want to be there. I was told in order to schedule a procedure that I would have to speak with the scheduler who was out on vacation For a week and a half, and that’s the only person apparently who can schedule anything. There is no ability to leave a voicemail and so when you call, you simply have to keep calling back until someone “decides” to answer the phone. Apparently they are that busy acc... read more
