The owner of this place is Joe Cianfero. He abuses his power over his employees and is rarely seen in his OWN gym. If you work there and you own the faucility, getting to know your customers and caring for your employees should be a must. This place is rarely cleaned and the service sucks- in my opinion. Wouldn’t come back again.
I’ve been coming to this gym for years and loved it. Lately there’s been a lot of shady business going on. Gym not opening on time and no one manning the desk. The only one I trust is Al. He is always on time, takes care of the members and the gym. If it wasn’t for him, I would’ve cancelled my membership a long time ago. Such a disappointment and disservice to long time members.
I was a member of this gym.It went out of business this week with no warning.. They took my membership fee and then closed hours later.
STAY AWAY! At first I thought this might be a cool old-school type gym. Everything is broken, there is rarely an employee even there, and the cleanliness is abhorrent. Need paper towels or toilet paper? forget it. I cancelled after one month, and two months later am still getting billed, despite numerous phone calls. Had to call my bank to let them know the charges were fraudulent. I also hear there's some shady stuff going on there because the owner isn't very good with money. There's plenty of better options in town.
The owner is running shady business practices. I canceled my membership several months ago and the owner continues to charge me for a membership. I spoke with the manager and she said she would do the best she could. You shouldn’t have to call to dispute transactions from a business every month. On top of that, the place is unsanitary, the machines were often broken and never fixed, there was insulation hanging out of the ceiling with a bunch of missing panels and mold growing on what was still intact.
