Dr Van Winkle has been caring for my horses for some time now. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind and caring. She also can float teeth like no other vet. I really had dental issues with my horses, and she made their teeth perfect. No more head tossing, no more head tilting. Also, she is wonderful with sheath cleaning. That might seem like an odd thing to note, but I'm not joking. She is just amazing at everything she does, even the really tough things in life, like having to say goodbye to your beloved equine friend.... read more
RecommendedI have to say they are the best. Whitney and her assistant and Farrier Casey came in and helped my gelding today I have been fighting with getting him sound for months and she figured out the problem and he's going to be ok i can't thank them enough it's going to be a long road but I am happy I still have my boy here today... ♥️

I highly recommend Dr VanWinkle! She was happy to answer All my questions! She took her time throughout the entire prepurchase exam and she explained any findings in a realistic way. She was very knowledgeable, personable and trustworthy. Her fees were very reasonable. I was very impressed overall! Would you come to North Florida? Lol

I used Whitney today for the first time for my horse that was very sore in his front feet. I highly recommend her she was very knowledgeable and caring.
I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT DR. VANWINKLE. SHE IS CARING WITH BOTH HER PATIENTS AND THEIR OWNERS. SHE IS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND GOES WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND TO INSURE QUALITY CARE AND TREATMENT OF HER PATIENTS. WITH DR. VANWINKLES CARE AND REFERRALS TO EMC IN OCALA , MY DAUGHTERS THOROUGHBRED WHO HAD AN INDOLENT ULCERATED CORNEA WAS WELL ON HER WAY TO RECOVERY.
