Was a patient for 25 years they did a mail out that my doctor has left .I recently moved the address change is only a year , the doctor office failed to phone then said you are no longer a patient .I recently requested for transfer of my records to go to new doctor .They have taken 3 requests to get done never has been done .This to me when everything is on computer why so long ? Dr. Daniel Van Der Merwe is absolutely amazing. He is knowledgeable, attentive, compassionate, and truly takes the time to listen. I feel very confident and well cared for under his supervision, and I’m genuinely grateful to have him as my doctor. Unfortunately, my experience with the Medical Office Assistant, Jay Moa, has been consistently unpleasant. Each interaction has felt dismissive and unnecessarily rude. Dr. Van Der Merwe is an exceptional doctor, we are genuinely so pleased with his care, thoroughness, and attention to detail. He listens, takes concerns seriously, and makes us feel confident in the medical care being provided. Unfortunately, the experience at the front desk has been the complete opposite. The staff are consistently condescending, dismissive, and lack empathy, especially when speaking with parents who are calling because they’re worried about their child. Update: I originally wrote a review 2 years ago complaining about the receptionist for Dr Hendriks. Today there was a male receptionist who I spoke to on the phone who was incredibly kind. His genuine care was really felt and appreciated with what I was going through when I spoke to him. The receptionists for Dr Hendriks have often been a bit on the unpleasant side, but today the receptionist was exceptionally cold.
