Wes and Andy came out to inspect and service my gas logs. I could not have been more impressed! Wes had my fireplace cleaned and running like new. I will call Guirkin for all my heating/plumbing/gas log needs.

I strongly regret using Guirkin. They are highly incompetent and extremely rude. They also try to sell you new toilets etc that you don’t need. They were unable to diagnose a leak in my living room ceiling coming from the bathroom above it. They installed a complicated device that they had no idea how to use. They told me that they install equipment, but it is the home owner’s responsibility to figure out how it works, The owner told me that I should have my grandchildren figure it out. Not sure what other company services fireplaces in Henrico, but will continue the search. Originally. I called to get an appointment, and whoever I spoke with did not appreciate my inqusitive nature. I wanted to know what the basic $150 service included. I was more or less greeted with a take it or leave it approach. I'm giving this rating because it could have been so much better. The initial contact was questionable because I wasn't greeted as a customer, but as someone who needed Guirkin, more than Guirkin needed me as a customer. It ended well because neither party has lost. During my initial conversation for an appointment I asked what the $150 service entailed.
