I was referred to Dr. Higa by my primary care provider after my insurance denied coverage for weight loss injections. The hope was that going through a weight loss clinic would improve my chances of approval. Unfortunately, it was very difficult to initially schedule an appointment, as I left multiple voicemails before finally receiving a call back. Dr. Higa was incredibly helpful with my wife Debra. We are moving to the Tucson area and he managed the handoff from her surgeons in Colorado with great professionalism. He and his staff handled all the hospital, pharmacy and nursing details of getting her set up for intravenous infusion. We wholeheartedly thank him and his staff for their assistance.
