I’ve taken my Chevy Silverado here several times. The estimates are always fair and the services is great. I always have a great experience at Guilford Texaco North.
My fiance and I both had major issues with our cars. Took mine to another local shop they wanted $5K to replace engine. GTN told me to take it to dealer because it was under warranty. Replacement cost me NOTHING. My fiance needed electrical work. Another shop quoted $3500. GTN said under warranty with dealer. Guilford Texaco North has saved me $8500! Now we go there all the time. Everyone there is great.
I have been using Texaco for several years now and always feel extremely confident in not only the owner of the shop but the rest of the staff. They are honest, give fair prices and are always friendly; traits that are hard to come by in that line of work. Thank you for always being available for car repairs!

I had an oil change a few days ago and oil cap wasn’t placed back . I was very lucky because I was preparing my car for long trip next day and decided to add more winter washer fluid so I had opened the hood. Oil was everywhere. Oil cap was sitting close by. I was very lucky to notice it otherwise my engine could be gone somewhere in the middle of my trip. Called the owner and he pressure washed all the oil and add more. Not going back. Owner is nice but he doesn’t do the work. People who work for him are not professional
