I had acute GI issues that landed me in the ER and saw Dr. Hung for a follow up. I had a lot of questions and concerns, and after reviewing my test results, he provided answers confidently and compassionately. I found Dr. Hung to be extremely personable, and he gave me the reassurance I needed to feel better both physically and mentally. The staff at his office was friendly and efficient both over the phone and in person. 5 star experience.

My doctor suspected some GI-related issues with some unusual symptoms I've been having so she sent me to a GI specialist to get a full workup done. Instead, Dr. Hung dismissed all my concerns, ignored my questions and spent the entire appointment lecturing me to lose an objectively unreasonable amount of weight (30% of my body weight! I am not a big person!!). He refused further testing or labs after I asked. I shared about this experience among my friends and several others shared similarly awful experiences with him.

Very unfriendly and dismissive - like he didn’t like me. Very strange. I won’t be going back.

I've never in my life heard of a doctor telling a patient that "I don't know what you bothered coming back here for". And that was after leaving my husband, who arrived early for his appointment, in the waiting room for well over an hour and a half past his scheduled appointment time.
