They do not offer home equity loans in the state of alaska, which is a bummer. Other than that I didn’t have issues with guild, for a first time home buyer with little money they do really well at working on pricing with you in order for it to be affordable.

They get you a loan at an average rate. The gripe I have is that they sold my mortgage to a no-name BS company. I know this is common practice in the industry, but I didn't even make my first payment before they sold my mortgage. That just blows my mind. You try to deal with a local and reputable company and they pawn you off on a bunch of bums.
