By being forthright with their customers. We were told they kept all of their loans in house. This was a deciding factor in choosing a mortgage broker. As we were moving in 20 days after closing, we were surprised to find a letter stating our mortgage was sold to another company. I had already scheduled an online payment to Guild and had to quickly cancel it and add the other company as a payee.
