Absolutely amazing. I cannot speak highly enough of the guides (teachers) and new Head of School, Bethany Bilberry. My family and I just recently moved to the Madison area & Guidepost at Mineral Point was our first daycare/school experience for our daughter. I cannot imagine bringing her anywhere else. They made our transition so smooth and met all of our family’s needs. The building is so beautiful, well-kept, & safe. this is pure karma. the way that place was run was absolutely unfair, there was so much favoritism within staff. Before I even got hired I heard that the main director was “weeding out” employees and keeping the ones she wanted to stay. It took me such a long time to receive my first check from guidepost and every check after that had been messed up or not on time. I continuously brought this issue up to Valerie, to which she would say she would fix it, and it would never get fixed. I would stress that I have rent due, food ... read more

We enrolled right when they opened. Management (that has since left) was lacking in communication, often sending emails last-minute or needing to be prompted for communication. Some excellent teachers but in an environment that didn’t seem supportive to them or the kids. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my kids there as the situation declined and was relieved to move them to a new school. A few months after we left, the school is now “temporarily closed.”

Just found out today that the school is closing indefinitely TOMORROW due to "licensing/inspection issues". To top it off, we then get an email from the school director, Valerie, alledging Guidepost Leadership is racist and mistreated staff. We later came to find out Valerie fabricated those accusations as she was actually on the outs with the company and wanted to sew discord and take down an exodus of staff with her.
