***UNION BUSTING DAYCARE. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE*** We attended Guidepost from January-March 2023. Two days after we started, the daycare shut down for a month because the HVAC was broken. But we tried to keep an open mind about it - things happen. During the two months we attended, my son had two different heads of school and at least five different lead teachers. I would not reccomend this school to anyone, ever. The management/ corporation that runs is absolutely incompetent. The school was closed due to a heating issue for 2 months, and besides apologies and a super demanding schedule as a poor makeup attempt, nothing was done. The school closed yet again for three months because the principal quit. If your entire school must close due to one staff member quitting, that is very poor management and a huge failure. School closure due to unfair labor practices! Teachers were furloughed after going public with union. This is illegal!Support teacher unions.
It's really sad to have to write this review of Guidepost Montessori. When the school was available we were quite happy with the care and development our child got from them. The facility is new and clean. Everyone was friendly and our child was very happy with his routine there. Unfortunately, the poor leadership from the top down at Guidepost was atrocious. We are still without childcare due to the months-long closure of this school - I put my faith into this brand based on a friends' recommendation, and when multiple staff and leadership and even regional leadership left, it left us with poor communication and uncertainty of care and safety. Good childcare has years-long waitlists and so I have had to miss work while still waiting for an opening elsewhere. I would avoid this location until it stabilizes - ask to talk to other parents before enrolling.
