Amazing people, great vibes, and a really nice place. 10/10 experience.
My experience started out great and communication was consistent, but I've had my Double Bass at Guarneri House since May 2025 for a neck repair, and it's been radio silent for months. I honestly wouldn't be so annoyed if communication was just better, and I received at least a monthly update. I know times get busy and life happens, but you at the very minimum owe your customers the courtesy of proper communication. I'll update my review once I recieve my completed bass back and see if this experience can be salvaged.
Very disappointing experience with Guaneri House. On July 22, 2025, I called to arrange to have my upright bass set up and get new strings installed— nothing extraordinary. They had me make an appointment for 13 days later to bring the bass in. I assumed that since I was having to wait nearly two weeks to bring it in, that meant that that was when they would have time in their schedule to begin working on it.
