Wonderful experience. Brought by German Shepherd in 10pm with an open wound post surgery which she chewed up. Everyone was so pleasant and nice from the front desk to the tech to the vet. So don’t believe the reviews about anyone being nasty. I came here from NYC !! They clearly don’t know what nasty is or they themselves were rude! As for the price! Very reasonable for 24/7 care ?! honestly really disappointed with this vet brought my dog in twice over 60 days got upcharged and when i asked for help 5 days later the second time wouldnt let me talk to a vet. never experienced that before with any vet ive been to.
I wanted to send a big thank you to the staff who helped my pup that they didn't even see. Last night my two year old golden retriever, who is more than just a pup as she bears the name of my angel daughter I lost a couple of years ago, likely got into something one of my kids left lying around. She started having seizures, and so we took her to a 24 hour vet that happened to be closer. I had quite a scare early Sunday morning with my 12 yo cat. As our regular vet was closed, I rushed off to Guardian Veterinary Emergency in Middletown. From the moment I walked in, the nurse and doctor responded with care and warmth and professionalism. Within an hour there were diagnostics and medicine and a promise to send a comprehensive email to myself and our regular vet (which I have already received). had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with this vet, and I would not recommend them. I brought my dog in expecting professional care and honest guidance, but instead I was told he needed surgery immediately, which was alarming, stressful, and incredibly expensive. Something didn’t feel right, so I went to another veterinarian for a second opinion. After a proper evaluation, I was told that my dog did NOT need surgery at all.
