This used to be a great pharmacy before it became shoppers. Now patients data is not kept in a safe place, faxes sitting out on the front counter not enough staff apparently to fill prescriptions taking days, can’t find stuff having to make multiple trips. Phones no longer being answered. Very disappointed in the level of service I don’t believe there was a huge increase in people needing medication so it seems with the change came chaos.

With the change over from Guardian to Shoppers it has been very painful. Too refill a prescription was usually done within 24 hours or less if required. My last refill is taking three days to process, totally unacceptable. How long will it take for service to return to somewhat normal. Yesterday when we were in the store to get over the counter medication (Advil) there was none to be found! The front counter clerk was too busy with Canada Post. Since the Guardian switched to Shoppers the new ownership is not managing the pharmacy very good. My mom who is a senior was told that she now can’t get her medication from this Shopper’s anymore and now has to drive into StAlbert ..they moved her prescription to the Shoppers by the Sobeys..which isn’t even the closest Shoppers to Morinville, there is a big Shoppers much closer for her across from the Walmart..I don’t understand why the Morinville pharmacy can no longer get this medication when they were able to get is under... read more
