After a catastrophic fire completely destroyed a three-family house I own, I needed help getting a copy of my insurance policy and interpreting certain terms in the document. The staff at Guard Insurance (a) had no copy of my insurance policy in their files and (b) had to forward my questions to the insurance company for answers rather than themselves being competent enough to help me interpret those. We bought a second home on Cape Cod last year. Some would say we over paid, but we love the house. In order to defray some of our expenses, we decided to rent it, as a summer rental.
