This company is a joke. They never answer the phone and instead of returning phone calls they just respond by emails that don't pertain to the voicemails left. To make matters worse they sold our mortgage to a company with horrible reviews before our first payment was due! One of the worst experiences ever. Stay away from Guaranteed Rate!!!

I can’t say many good things about my experience here. I have tried. The only good thing is that I was able to get approved for a mortgage. But my interest rate is way higher than others right now because I’m self employed. My down payment was also astronomical because of the same reason. I was told to contact Adam Slack by a co-worker, and was told he was really good to work with. I hardly dealt with Adam, and instead spoke a lot with his team about things. Terrible communication and feel like you don't matter to them. Trying to see where we stand and get a loan and they say they'll get back to you with more info but never do.
