Be Warned, there is a active Caltrans site right next to the hotel that they don't tell you about. There is a gas generator that runs all night to power a very bright light cart that is also on all night. When the light and generator go off at 6AM there is about 1 hour of quite till the workers start up their heavy equipment at 7AM. The staff are very kind and the rooms are nice and clean, but it's impossible to get a good nights sleep due to the on going construction.
Loud construction and road noise. Hotel next to hiway and adjacent construction site.
The room was spacious and clean. The king bed was the most uncomfortable lumpy bed I’ve ever slept on. There is a huge difference between the view shown on their website vs reality. They fail to mention a very active job site with bright lights 24/7 and the highway is between the property and the view they sold. The fireplace heater was not safe to use. When we turned it on there was a giant BOOM that shook the room. There was no one there at the time or the next morning to report the fireplace issue
Service, location, excellent. We were surprised at how cute the room ended up with beautiful view and next to grocery and several really good restaurants. Great place to stay in beautiful Gualala.
